If it makes 30° with the ground at a distance of 10/√3m
then
tan theta =AB/BC (BCZ AB IS UNKNOWN SIDE and BC known side of ∆ABC
tan30°= x/10/√3
√3=X×√3/10
√3=√3x/10
√3×10/√3=X
X=10m
Therefore length of broken part =X=10m
