area of a parallelogram = base x corresponding height
therefore,
24cm^2 = 4 x 'height'
》24÷4 = x
or x = 6cm
therefore,
24cm^2 = 4 x 'height'
》24÷4 = x
or x = 6cm

hello friend :))
--------------------------------
as we know area pf parallelogram is B×H..you may get the proof using ;;;;; dropping perpend. from vertex of a||gm.
therefore putting values...
height=x.
therefore,,
=>x×4=24
=>x=6cm.(height)

hope it helps you.. ;)
