(hypotenuese)^{2} = (perpendicular)^{2} + (base)^{2}

= 10^{2}  + 24^{2}  

= 100 +576

(hypo)^{2}=676

hypo = \sqrt{676}  = 26

so the hypotenuese is 26 cm
