Find the hypotenuse of a right triangle ,whose sides containing right angles are :10cm and 24cm

Given sides are 10 cm and 24cm

To find:-

  • Hypotenuse

It can be solved using Pythagoras Theorem

Hypotenuse²=Base²+height²

=(10cm)²+(24cm)²

= 100cm²+576 cm²

=676cm²

 \sf \:   \therefore \: hypotenus =  \sqrt{ {676cm}^{2} } \\ \:  \sf  = 26cm
