Convex Lens.
Lens formula:
1/v - 1/u = 1/f
Given u = - 15cm (convention). f = +20 cm , v = ?
1/v = 1/f + 1/u = 1/20 - 1/15 = -1/60
So v= - 60 cm
This means that a virtual image is formed by the lens on the same side as that the object. The image is 60-15 = 45 cm behind the object.
Magnification = v/u = 4
It is a virtual erect image. This is because the object is closer than the focus to the lens.
