\huge\underline{\overline{\mid{\bold{\red{ANSWER-}}\mid}}}

retardation = 2.5 m/s 2

that is its acceleration= - 2.5 m/s square.

final velocity(v) = 0 m/s

time taken (t) = 10 seconds

let initial velocity be u

a=v-u/t

therefore 2.5=0- u / 10

=25m

Question:-

Find the initial velocity of a car which is stopped in 10 seconds by applying brakes retardation dua to brakes is 2.5 metre per second square?

Answer:-

initial velocity=?

final velocity=0

time=10

accelaration= -2.5m/s2

a = v - u/t

-2.5 =0 - u/10

-2.5 = -u/10

-2.5 × 10 = -u

-25 = -u

25 = u

hope it helps u....!!
