here is your answer
v=0
u=?
a=5m/s square
t= 4seconds
a= v-u/t
5=0-u/4
5×4=-u
u=-20m/s
so,
initial velocity=-20m/s
hope it helps you.

zonunmawii: then please let me see your solve
9852926461: ok
9852926461: v=0, u=?, t=4 second, a=-5m/s
9852926461: then, a=v-u/s
9852926461: -5=0-u/4
9852926461: -u=4*-5
9852926461: u= 20m/s
zonunmawii: thank you very much i know how to solve now .......thnks.....☺
9852926461: most welcome dear
rajiv3215: there is no my mistake, because acceleration is positive in the question.

Explanation:

Answer ⤵️

Initial velocity, u=?

Final velocity, v=0m/s (car is stopped)

Acceleration, a=−2.5m/s²(negative because it is retardation)

Time, t=10s

Use the relation of the first equation of motion:

v=u+at

0=u+(−2.5)×10

u=25m/s
