Solution :-

Given,

V = 0 m/s
T = 15 s
a = -1.5 metre second square

Using, V = u+ at,

We get,

0 = u + ( - 1.5)  + \times  15 \\  \\ 0 = u - 1.5 \times 15 \ \\  \\  u = 22.5

Thanks!!

Answer:

Explanation:

Intial Velocity (u)=um/s

A train is stopped after sometime thus

Final velocity (v)=0

Retardation=1.5m/s^2

Time (t)=15seconds

Using formula of retradation

Retardation=(u-v)/t

1.5=(u-0)/15

22.5=u-0

Thus ,u=22.5m/s this is your answer
