Step-by-step explanation:

Question :- find the interest on 24000 for 1 month at the rate of 10%.

Solution :-

We know,

i \:  =  \frac{p \times r \times t}{100}

Here,

Principal = ₹24000

Time = 1 month = 0.0822 year

Rate = 10% p. a.

As per question,

i \:  =  \frac{24000 \times 0.0822 \times 10}{100}

i \:  =  \frac{24000 \times 822 \times 10}{100 \times 10000}

i \:  =  \frac{24 \times 822}{100}

i \:  =  \frac{6 \times 822}{25}

i \:  = 6  \times 32.88

i \:  = 197.28

[Note : here, I converted month into year and hence, it is a different way to answer but i hope it helps you...]
