Answer & Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = (2x - 3) / (x + 2)

take f(x) = x and change x to y

x = (2y - 3) / (y + 2)

then subject y

x ( Y + 2) = (2y - 3)

xy + 2x = 2y - 3

2x + 3 = 2y  - xy

2x + 3 = y (2 - x)

y = (2x + 3) / (2 - x)

change y to f^-1(x)

f^-1(x) = (2x + 3) / (2 - x)
