as for inverse function
f(f^{-1}(x))=x
take [tex]f^{-1}(x)=y [/tex]
therefore
 \frac{y^2-4y+2}{3y}=x \\ y^2-4y+2=3xy \\ y^2-4y=(3x+4)y \\ (y-4)=3x+4 \\ y=3x+8
therefore inverse function is 3x+8
