Given :-

Mass of cricket ball, m = 160g.

Velocity of the ball, v = 30m/s

To Find :-

Kinetic Energy possessed by Cricket ball.

Solution :-

Kinetic energy is directly proportional to the mass of the object and to the square of its velocity

In other words,

  • K.E = 1/2mv²

energy is a scalar quantity.

here, m Denotes Mass and v denotes velocity

so, substituting the given values in formula .i.e.,

➠ K.E = 1/2mv²

➠ K.E = 1/2(160)(30)²

➠ K.E = (80)(900)

➠ K.E = 72000 J

thus, the Kinetic Energy possessed by the cricket ball is 72000J
