Solution :

Given,

• Length of floor = 50m
• Breadth of floor = 30m

As we know that,

• Area of floor = l × b

where , l is length 50m and b is breadth 30m

》Area of floor = length × breadth

》Area of floor = 50 × 30

》Area of floor = 1500 sq. m

Hence , Area of floor is 1500m²

Now we have to find the cost of laying

Given that ,

• Cost of laying 1 sq. m = Rs . 40

Then,

》Cost of laying 1500m² = 40 × 1500

》60,000 Rs

Hence , Cost of laying 1 sq.m is 80 rupees is 60,000
