Square of 10 = 100 > 99 thus number would be less than 10.

Since we are asking for 2 digit number which is an integer then we consider only whole numbers thus, largest whole number less than 10 is 9.

9^2 = 81.

Hence largest two digit number who is also a perfect square = 81.

Answer:

The largest two-digit number which is a perfect square is 81.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to find the number largest among the numbers having a perfect square.

Step 1 of 2

We know that 100 is the starting number of perfect squares. And it is the perfect square of 10

So now it becomes obvious that the number whose square will come will be less than 10

Step 2 of 2

Let us start with 9 which is the first number before 10 then the square of 9 is written as

9² = 81

So 81 is the largest number of two-digit which is a perfect square.
