Find the largest number that will divide 398, 436 and 536 leaving remainders 7, 11 and 15 respectively.

so I guess the question is wrong or else the answer is there is no such number

398 - 7 = 391
436 - 11 = 425
536 - 15 = 521

Since 521 has no factors, there is no no. that will divide it exactly.

Therefore 398, 436 and 536  can't have a factor that will divide them exactly leaving remainders 7, 11 and 15 respectively.
