Find the largest number which divides 146 and 356 leaving remainder 6 in each case​

356 - 6 = 350

140/70 = 2

350/70 = 5

Needed to leave a remainder 6 for both numbers then,

the numbers be 146-6 = 140

and the other is 356-6 = 350

now the largest no which divides these two numbers are ( HCF) of the two numbers

HCF of 140 and 350 is 70.

Hence 70 is the largest numbers which divides 146 and 356 leaving remainder 6 in each case.
