245 - 5 = 240.
1029 -5 = 1024.

According to question... we have to find the largest number which is exactly divisible by both.

1024 = 2×2×2×2×2×2×2×2×2×2.

HCF = 2×2×2×2 = 16.

Hence the required number is 16.
