To find the largest two digit number that divides 673 and 865 leaving remainder 1 in each ,we will find have to subtract 1 from both then we will have to find HCM of both ,

 =  > 673 - 1 \\  =  > 672
 =  > 865 - 1 \\  =  > 864
Now ,we will find HCM :-
 =  > 672 = 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 3 \times 7 \\  =  > 864 = 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 3 \times 3 \times 3
So,
HCF = 2×2×2×2×2×3
 =  > 96

Hence,
The largest number which divides 673 and 856 leaving remainder 1 is "96".

remainder = 1
then the number can be easily divisible and leave remainder 0 will be 673 -1 and 865 -1 that is 672 and 864 .

factors of 672 are =2×2×2×2×2×3×7
factors of 864 are = 2×2×2×2×2×3×3×3

common = 2×2×2×2×2×3
= 96

96 is answer.
