Lateral Surface area of cube is 196 square cm.

Total Surface area of cube is 294 square cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given;

side of cube 'a' = 7 cm

We need to find the lateral surface area of cube and Total surface are of Cube.

Solution:

First we will find the lateral Surface area of cube.

Lateral  Surface area of cube can be calculated by 4 times square of the side.

Framing in equation form we get;

Lateral  Surface area of cube = 4\times a^2= 4\times 7 \times 7 = 196\ cm^2

Hence Lateral Surface area of cube is 196 square cm.

Now we will find the Total Surface area of cube.

Total Surface area of cube can be calculated by 6 times square of the side.

Framing in equation form we get;

Total Surface area of cube = 6\times a^2= 6\times 7 \times 7 = 294\ cm^2

Hence Total Surface area of cube is 294 square cm.
