Answer:

TSA of cube = 6a²

= 6 (2.1)²

= 26.46m²

LSA or CSA of cube = 4m²

= 4 (2.1)²

= 17.64m²

Given :

  • Side of cube = 1.5 m

To find :

  • Lateral surface area and Total surface area of cube?

Solution :

We know that,

  • The total surface area (TSA) of a cube is the sum of the areas of its six faces.

Total surface area of cube = 6a²

→ 6 × (1.5)²

→ 6 × 2.25

13.5 m²

And,

  • The lateral surface area (LSA) of a cube is the area of the four sides.

Curved surface area of cube = 4a²

→ 4 × (1.5)²

→ 4 × 2.25

9 m²

Hence, LSA and TSA of cube is 13.5 m² and 9 m² respectively.
