Given :-

  • Length of Cuboid = 20cm
  • Breadth of Cuboid = 15cm
  • Height of Cuboid = 25cm

 \\

To Find :-

  • The Lateral Surface Area of Cuboid
  • The Total Surface Area of Cuboid

 \\

Solution :-

❍ As we know that, Lateral Surface Area of a Cuboid and Total Surface Area of a Cuboid are given by [ L.S.A = 2(l + b)h ] [ T.S.A of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + lh) ] respectively where l , b and h stands for Length , Breadth and Height respectively.

Lateral Surface Area :

⟾⠀⠀L.S.A of Cuboid = 2 (l + b) × h

⟾⠀⠀L.S.A of Cuboid = 2 ( 20 + 15 ) × 25

⟾⠀⠀L.S.A of Cuboid = 2 × 35 × 25

⟾⠀⠀L.S.A of Cuboid = 70 × 25

⟾⠀⠀L.S.A of Cuboid = 1750cm²

________________

➞ T.S.A of Cuboid = 2(lb + bh + lh)

➞ T.S.A = 2(20 × 15 + 15 × 25 + 20 × 25)

➞ T.S.A = 2( 300 + 375 + 500 )

➞ T.S.A = 2( 800 + 375 )

➞ T.S.A = 2 × 1175

➞ T.S.A of Cuboid = 2350cm²

________________

Therefore :-

  • L.S.A of Cuboid = 1750cm²
  • T.S.A of Cuboid = 2350cm²
