Diameter d of cylinder = 50 cm

Radius r of cylinder = d/2 =50/ 2 = 25 cm = 0.25 m

Height h of cylinder = 3.5 m

Lateral surface area of cylinder

$= 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 0.25 \times 3.5$


$= 2 \times 22 \times 0.25 \times 0.5$


$= 5.5 \: \: {m}^{2}$
