Hi there !!LCM and HCF of 693 and 1078 is

693 = 3² × 7 × 11

1078 = 2 × 7²× 11

This can be done by the method of prime factorisation.

Now, H.C.F = 11 × 7 = 77 ( Smallest power)

L.C.M = 11× 7² ×3²×2 = 9702

We can verify this answer by multiplying two number.

L.C.M × H.C.F = 693 ×1078

prime factor of 693 = 3,3,7,11

and prime factor of 1078 = 2,11,7,7

here we have two pairs of 7 and 11

so,

their product is 77

Hence, the HCF of 693 and 1078 is 77

and if we carry out the LCM of 693 and 1078 than we get 9702

Hence, the LCM of 693 and 1078 is 9702
