Answer:- HCF = 2 & LCM = 144

Solution:-

16 = (2)^4
12 = (2)^2 ✖️ 3
18 = 2 ✖️ (3)^2

HCF = 2
LCM = (2)^4 ✖️ (3)^2
=> 16 ✖️ 9
=> 144

=> HCF = 2
=> LCM = 144

Step-by-step explanation:

16 = 2 × 8

2 × 4

2 × 2

12 = 2 × 6

2 × 3

18 = 2 × 9

3 × 3

so the HCF of 16 , 12 and 18

16 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2

12 = 2 × 2 × 3

18 = 2 × 3 × 3

so the HCF is = 2

ans - 2

LCM of 16 , 12 , 18

16 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2

12 = 2 × 2 × 3

18 = 2 × 3 × 3

LCM = 2 × 2 × 2×2 × 3 × 3

= 144

Hope this will help you .
