find the LCM in short division method

1) 24 , 36
2) 18 , 27

The prime factorization of 36 is: 2 x 2 x 3 x 3.

Eliminate the duplicate factors of the two lists, then multiply them once with the remaining factors of the lists to get Lcm(24,36) = 72.

    2. The prime factorization of 18 is: 2 x 3 x 3

 The prime factorization of 27 is : 3 x 3 x 3

Again Eliminate the duplicate factors of the two lists, then multiply them once with the remaining factors of the lists to get Lcm(18,27) = 54.
