Given,

The main numbers are = 16,28,40,77

To find,

The LCM or Least Common Multiple of the main numbers.

Solution,

We can easily calculate the LCM of the given numbers by the division method. In the division method we divide the given numbers with prime numbers,until at least one number is divisible by any prime number. Then the multiplication of all the divisor prime numbers and final remainders will be the LCM or (Least Common Multiple) of the given numbers.

LCM =

2 | 16,28,40,77

2 | 8,14,20,77

2 | 4,7,10,77

2 | 2,7,5,77

5 | 1,7,5,77

7 | 1,7,1,77

11 | 1,1,1,77

_____

1,1,1,1

LCM = 2×2×2×2×5×7×11×1×1×1×1 = 6160

Hence,the LCM (Least Common Multiple) of the given numbers is 6160.
