Answer:

LCM = 360

Step-by-step explanation:

Prime Factorisation:

⇒ 6 = 2 × 3

⇒ 72 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 = 2³ × 3²

⇒ 120 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 5 = 2³ × 3 × 5

According to theory, LCM of two or more numbers is the product of their terms with highest powers.

That is, terms in the above sum are 2, 3 and 5. So the product of highest powers of 2, 3 and 5 is the LCM.

Highest Power of 2 = 3 ⇒2³

Highest Power of 3 = 2 = 3²

Highest Power of 5 = 1 = 5

Hence LCM = 2³ × 3² × 5

⇒ LCM = 360

Hence the LCM ( 6, 72, 120 ) = 360
