ANSWER--

When we perform mathematical operations two fractions with different denominators we take the LCM of the denominators and make them Like fractions to perform the operations.

8/9+ 15/12

So we will take 9 and 12 LCM

LCM of 9 and 12= 36

  • Now 9 will be multiplied by 4 to get 36. 8/9 multiplied by 4/4= 32/36
  • Now 12 will be multiplied by 3 to get 36. 15/12 multiplied by 3/3= 45/36

45+32/36

45+32= 77

Ans 77/36
