The least number which can be cut into whole pieces of length 36cm, 48cm, 60cm = HCF ( 36, 48, 60 )
36 = 2×2×3×3
48 = 2×2×2×2×3
60 = 2×2×3×5
So, HCF ( 36, 48, 60 ) = 2×2×3 = 12
Therefore, the least length that can be cut into whole pieces is 12 cm.
