at first in 8000, u need to divide the 1st pair which is 80 with such a number whose square number is less than it which is 8. now 80-64= 16.

now u put down the next pair beside 16. now it has become 1600. u need to multiply 8 with 2 which is 16 and u have to write such a no. beside 16 by which if u multiply it, it should be less than 1600 or should be equal to 1600. in this case it is 9. now 169 X 9= 1521. here, 1600-1521= 79.

the answer u need is 89

the no. u need to add is the square of (89+1)- 8000

= the square of 90- 8000

=8100-8000

= 100

the no. u need to add is 100

Answer:

100

Step-by-step explanation:

first we must find square root of 8000 by division method so 80 & 00 make the two pair now we have to divide the first pair i.e. 80 with 8 square that is 64 so 80-64=16 now we have to bring down the next pair 00 so our dividend is 1600 now we must divide it with 1521 we get 1521 by multiplying 89 with 9 so we have to subtract 1521 from 1600 the remainder is 79

sicnce (89)^2 is less than 8000

(90)^2 = 8100

so 8100-8000=100

therefore the least number which must be added to 8000 to make it a perfect square is 100

hope it helps u :-)
