Step-by-step explanation:

Length of the room

= 80m.

Breadth of the room

= 50m.

The HCF of the 80 and 50 will be size of square tiles.

HCF 80 and 50 = 10 cm.

Area of the room

= length × breadth

= 80×50m2

Area of tiles = 10× 10m2

So, number of tiles required

80 \times 50 \div 10 \times 10 \\ = 4000 \div 100 \\ = 40times
