SOLUTION :

First find the L.C.M of all the numbers between 1 and 10 (both inclusive)

1 = 1¹

2 = 2¹

3 = 3¹

4 = 2 x 2 = 2²

5 = 5¹

6 = 2¹ x 3¹

7 = 7¹

8 = 2 x 2 x 2 = 2³

9 = 3 x 3 = 3²

10 = 2¹ x 5¹

LCM = 2³ × 3² × 5¹ × 7¹ = 8 × 9 × 5 × 7

L.C.M  of numbers between 1 and 10 (both inclusive) = 2520

Hence , 2520 is the least number that is divisible by all the numbers between 1 and 10 (both inclusive)

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The least number divisible by all the number from 1 to 10 will be the L.C.M of following number

So , Finding LCM of all numbers between 1 to 10.

⇒ 1 = 1

⇒ 2 = 2 × 1

⇒ 3 = 3 × 1

⇒ 4 = 2 × 2

⇒ 5 = 5 × 1

⇒ 6 = 2 × 3

⇒ 7 = 7 × 1

⇒ 8 = 2 × 2 × 2

⇒ 9 = 3 × 3

⇒ 10 = 2 × 5

Then, the L.C.M. of these number is 1 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 5 × 7 = 2520

Hence, the least number that is divisible by all the numbers between 1 and 10 is 2520.
