Well this question could also be read as "What's the smallest value of x that satisfies the equation a² = 4000 – x, where a and x are both positive integers ?"

We can find the square root of 4000, which is 63.2 455532034

And we can take the floor function (finding the highest integer lower than the number, which would be 63

63² = 3969

4000 – 3969 = 31
