Frnd this will help you solve the question,

After applying the long division method on the no. 9598, we concluded that:
97^2 < 9598 < 98^2

9409 < 9598 < 9604 
So we simply subtracted the bigger no. from smaller no.

9604 - 9598 = 6; It is the least no. that should be added to 9598 to make it a perfect square.
