Dear Student,
First we have to find the square root of √9598 which is not perfect.
√9598= 97
(97)^2 < 9598 > (98)^2
Required number to be added = (98)^2 -9598=9604-9598=6
Therefore, 6 must be added to 9598 to make it a perfect square.
Therefore, perfect square number= 9598+6=9604.
Hence , √9604= 98.
