if you prime factorise each number then,
10=5*2
9=3*3
8=2*2*2
then number which will be divisible by 8,9,10 will be the LCM of the three numbers
that is,
LCM= all the terms with highest power
=5*2*2*2*3*3
=360

The LCM of the numbers is the smallest number which is exactly divisible by each of 8, 9 and 10.So, LCM of 8, 9 and 10 = 360.Therefore, 360 is the smallest number that is exactly divisible by 8, 9 and 10.The other numbers [they are greater the 360] exactly divisible by 8, 9 and 10 are 2*360 = 720 , 3*360 = 1080 and so on.
