find the square root of 2945 by long division method, reminder is 29 and the quotient  is 54.

54² < 2945 > 55²

2916 < 2945 > 3025

now,

3025 - 2945 = 80

∴ 80 must be added to 2945 to get a perfect square.

3025 is a perfect square no.

√3025 = 55

∵ square root of perfect square no. is 55
