Do that method by which you find the square . You will get the remainder . Remainder is itself the no. you have to add to make it a perfect square .

firstly find the value by long division method.
here we see that root 306452 is equal to 553 and remainder is 643.

so next perfect square is =554^2 = 306916.
.
so least number that must be added to 306452 to obtain perfect square is
306915 - 306452
=464...
