First think about that what is possible square of this 5678
it is 75.35
now try 75^2=5625
5678-5625=53
now use
76^2=5776
5776-5678=98
so we require 98 to become perfect square
and substrate 53 to get perfect square .
for add ur answer is
98

The least number which must be added is 98

Given:

The four-digit number 5678 which should be added by a number to make a perfect square

To Find:

The least number which must be added to make the square number

Solution:

We are given a number 5678

Now, trust the closest range and do the sq. of that range and so compare it with the given range and check whether or not it's little or giant then it.

Let the number be 75

but if we have a tendency to do sq. of this, we'll get 5625

But it is less than the given number, so we have to think more.

It means that we've got to deduct the given range with 5776

to get the worth that we will raise the given range 5678

To make it an ideal square . Therefore,

= 5776−5678

= 98

Hence, 98 is the least number which must be added to 5678

so we will get a perfect square

The required number is: 5678+98=5776
