find the least number which must be added to 6203 to obtain a perfect square. also, find the square root of number so obtained

Square root of 6203 :-
•Quotient = 78
•Remainder = 119
Which shows that it isn't a perfect square.

Now, we have to find the nearest perfect square to 6203 i.e., 6241.

=> √6241 = 79

So, we got a perfect square no. so we have to subtract it from a imperfect square no.

=> 6241 – 6203

=> 38

Therefore, the least no. is 38.
