Hii friend,

Let X must be subtracted from 3175 to make it perfect square.

Therefore,

3175 - X = 3136

X = 3136-3175

-X = -39

X = 39

Hence,

39 must be subtracted from 3175 to make it perfect square...

=> let us find the square root of 3175

=>
√3175

=> 56.34.....................

=>now let us round of 56.34 to the before hunded

=>56 (approx)

now let us find the square root of 56

=>56²

=> 3136

so the perfect square before 3175 is 3136

so 
the least number which must be subtracted form 3175 to make a perfect square

=>3175 - 3136

=> 39
