========================================

aim :Find the least number which must be minused  o 6203 to obtain the perfect square also find the square root of the number so obtained

=>first let us find the  √ 6203

√6203

we get the answer as 78. 75...............

now let us round off it to the next  least hundered

=>it is 77 and not 79 because in the question it is given that it should be subtrated.

=>if we write 79 then the asnwer wil go above 6203

=>77 [approx]

now let us find the square of 77

=>77²

=>77×77

=>5929

so the least number added o 6203 to obtain the perfect square

=>6203  - 5929

=>274

∴38 is the answeer

=>6203 - 274  = 5929

=>√5929 = 77

hope it helps u.......
