the no. that should. be subtracted from 3250 so as to get a perfect square is 1

3250 - x = a²

3250 - x = 57²

x = 3250-3249 = 1

so , x = 1

because , if we subtract 1 from 3250 we get 3249 .

3250-1 = 3249

therefore,

√3249 = 57

hence , the square root of that no. will be 57 .

Solution:

Find out the square root of 3250

      57

      3250

5     25

              1

√ 3250  >  57

=> 3250 > 57²

=> 3250   > 3249

Hence 3250 - 3249 = 1  must be subtracted from 3250 so as to get a perfect square

square root of the perfect square so obtained = 57

1  must be subtracted from 3250
