The number which is divisible by 15 , 25 , 30, 45 is 450 (lcm of these numbers is 450). The least number which on addition of 9 is divisible by above numbers is 441.

Solution

Step 1: Find the LCM of 15, 20, 30 and 45.

LCM of 15, 20, 30 and 45 is ⇒ 2×2×3×3×5 = 180

Step 2: Subtract 9 from the product.

180 - 9 = 171

∴ 171 is the least number which on adding 9 it becomes exactly divisible by 15, 20, 30 and 45.
