let the length of rectangle be 'l"

perimeter of the rectangle = 2(length+ width)

144 m = 2 (l+ 12m)

144 m = 2l + 24m

2l = 144m - 24m

2l = 120 m

l = 120/2

l = 60 m

:. length = 60 m (answer)
