Answer:

Area of rectangle= length ×breadth

240× 60 sq m

let, each side of square be " a " m

then area of square =a²

According to given condition

a²=240×60

a²= 60×4 ×60

a=✓ 60×60×2×2

a= 60×2 (. as length of square cannot be negative -ve)

a= 120

ANS)))therefore each side of square is 120m

Let the length of side of square = a

 \bold{Now \: area \: of \: square =  {a}^{2}}

Area of rectangle=240×60

 \bold{ = 14400  \:  {m}^{2} }

According to question

 \bold{ {a}^{2}  = 14400}

 \bold{ {a} = 120}
