then according to Pythagoras theorem,
x²+ x²= (diagonal)²
(diagonal)² = 2x²
diagonal= √2x ––––(1)
But we r given that diagonal=10 cm––––(2)
Adding (1) and (2),
√2x = 10 cm
x=10/√2 cm
x= 5√2 cm. (By rationalizing 10/√2)
Hence the side is 5√2 cm...
