61 cm is the length of diagonal by using Pythagoras theorem

mtidke140q: please give the answer by full method
mtidke140q: the answer is correct
Anonymous: ok
Anonymous: by Pythagoras theorem
Anonymous: hypotenuse^2 =(side1)^2 + (side2)^2
Anonymous: hence 60^2 + 11^2
mtidke140q: ok
mtidke140q: thanks

length =11 cm
breadth = 60 cm
through Pythagoras theorem
 {cd }^{2} = {bc }^{2} + {cd}^{2} \\ {cd}^{2} = {60}^{2} + {11 }^{2} \\ {cd }^{2} = 3600 + 121 \\ {cd}^{2} = 3721 \\ cd = \sqrt{3721 } \\ cd = 61
therefore, diagonal of the rectangle is 61cm
