perimeter \: of \: square =  {4a}^{2}  \\ perimeter \: of \: square = 48 {cm}^{2}  \\ length \: of \: square =  \frac{48}{4}  = 12cm \\ now. \: area \: of \: square =  {s}^{2}  \\  = 12 \times 12 = 144 {cm}^{2}
