Length=5x+4

Breadth=x-4

Given Perimeter=72

Perimeter=2×(l+b)

72=2×(5x+4)+(x-4)

72=10x+8+2x-8

72=12x

 \sf \frac{72}{12}  = x = 6

So x=6

Length=5x+4=5×6+4=34

Breadth=x-4=6-4=2

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter = 2(l+b)

72 =2(5x+4+x-4)

72 = 2×6x

72 =12x

x =72/12

x. = 6

length x-4 =6-4=2

breath 5x+4=5×6+4=34
